My post-apocalyptic horror story Close Your Eyes has been produced as an audiobook by Chris Herron at Tall Tale TV. Chris did an amazing job with the narration, perfectly capturing the pacing and mood of the story. The production runs about 18 minutes long, and is available to listen to and download for free.

My camping trip horror story Baby Food has been accepted by the Tales to Terrify podcast. They have produced two of my other stories in the past, but this is a much longer one (7,500 words) that will likely be a standalone episode. I can’t wait to hear what they do with it.

My short Cape Cod horror story I Row has been accepted by Gypsum Sound Tales for their Thuggish Itch: By the Seaside anthology. It’s a story about trying to escape from the past by any means necessary, no matter how many tries it takes.

My alien circus drabble Showtime has been accepted into Dark Moments by Black Hare Press.

My dystopian political story Unarmed has been published by Metastellar. It’s a story about a citizen fighting back against a cult-like authoritarian leader who is driving the country toward another Civil War. I wrote it in mid-2020, before the last election, and before the Jan 6th insurrection. It’s scary and sad how prescient it has ended up being. Hopefully life will stop imitating art before we’re this far gone. It’s available to read for free here.

My short horror story Baby Food from the All Dark Places 3 anthology was selected as one of the three Editor’s Picks for 2021 by the editor of Dragon Soul Press.

The first installment of my cyberpunk thriller Override has been published in Dark Matter Magazine, Issue 007. Override is a three-part serial novella that will be released over the next three issues of Dark Matter, with the next installments coming in March and May 2022.

My twisted superhero story Interminable has been published in Dark Recesses Press, Vol. 6 Issue 14, available in print + digital or digital only starting today.

Way, way back on December 24th, I wrote my 2021 Awards Eligibility and Year in Review post, assuming that the year was, well, over. What a difference a week makes. Since I wrote that post, I’ve had four more acceptances and two more publications.
That means I already have 19 stories lined up for publication in 2022, and the year hasn’t even started yet.
