“The Salt Circle” published in The Literary Hatchet

My weird fiction story The Salt Circle has been published in Issue #32 of The Literary Hatchet by Pear Tree Press. You can download it for free for a limited time, or you can pick up a paperback copy on Amazon. This is one of the weirder stories I’ve written. It’s about a man who turns into a slug, and what happens when his wife dies after trapping him in a circle of salt on the kitchen floor.

“Those Who Turn From God” accepted into Dragon Gems anthology

My folklore-based horror story Those Who Turn From God has been accepted into the 2023 Dragon Gems anthology by Water Dragon Publishing. The story is based on a real grave in the Mount Holly Cemetery in New Jersey, where you’ll find an eerie phrase carved into stone: “Thus is the fate of those who turn from God.” In the woods nearby is the Witch’s Well, where an alleged witch was hanged and then thrown down the well. Those Who Turn From God combines the two legends into a story about what happens when the witches in the well return to get their revenge.

“A Thing of Beauty” accepted by The Storyteller Series podcast

My body horror story A Thing of Beauty has been accepted by The Storyteller Series podcast for a full-cast audio production. It’s a story about beauty, vengeance, and fleshcrafting, coming to you in October.

The Storyteller Series did an amazing job with my sci-fi horror story The Door is Open last October, so I can’t wait to hear what they do with A Thing of Beauty.

Two stories accepted by Wicked Shadow Press

My horror story Things Are Looking Up has been accepted by Wicked Shadow Press for their upcoming anthology, RISE: Anthology of the Undead. After a man and his wife are in a fatal car accident, the man decides he will do anything to see his wife one more time … even if he has to dig.

In addition, Wicked Shadow Press has accepted my historical horror story Everything As It Was for their next (still unannounced) anthology.
