Preorders are now available for A Very Ghostly Christmas from Ghost Orchid Press, featuring my haunted house story, House of Whispers. It has all the elements of a classic ghost story: an old Victorian mansion, strange whispers in the walls, mysterious disappearances, and a twist ending that ties them all together.

My slasher story No Signal has been accepted into Dead Heat: An Anthology of Summer Horror by Crimson Pinnacle Press. It’s a twist on the common trope of someone in the woods trying to call for help, only to realize that, “There’s no signal out here!”

My folklore-based horror story Those Who Turn From God has been accepted into the 2023 Dragon Gems anthology by Water Dragon Publishing. The story is based on a real grave in the Mount Holly Cemetery in New Jersey, where you’ll find an eerie phrase carved into stone: “Thus is the fate of those who turn from God.” In the woods nearby is the Witch’s Well, where an alleged witch was hanged and then thrown down the well. Those Who Turn From God combines the two legends into a story about what happens when the witches in the well return to get their revenge.

My underwater horror story A Sinking Feeling has been accepted by Daikaijuzine for their September issue. It’s the story of two survivors trapped in an air pocket in a sunken ship at the bottom of the ocean. And they’re not alone.

My sci-fi horror drabble What It Feels Like to Die has been accepted by Martian Magazine. When you wake up in a Rejuvenator, you don’t remember anything about how you died … even if someone killed you.

My body horror story A Thing of Beauty has been accepted by The Storyteller Series podcast for a full-cast audio production. It’s a story about beauty, vengeance, and fleshcrafting, coming to you in October.
The Storyteller Series did an amazing job with my sci-fi horror story The Door is Open last October, so I can’t wait to hear what they do with A Thing of Beauty.

My horror story Things Are Looking Up has been accepted by Wicked Shadow Press for their upcoming anthology, RISE: Anthology of the Undead. After a man and his wife are in a fatal car accident, the man decides he will do anything to see his wife one more time … even if he has to dig.
In addition, Wicked Shadow Press has accepted my historical horror story Everything As It Was for their next (still unannounced) anthology.

My sci-fi horror story A Piece of the Sky has been accepted by The Dread Machine. It’s told through the testimony of the surviving member of a two-person asteroid mining crew that picked up an unfortunate souvenir during their expedition.

Nine of my horror drabbles have been accepted into the Nom Nom Halloween drabble anthology by Black Hare Press. The first six are originals; the other three are reprints.
And, yes, all the stories are required to have two-word titles.
