My horror drabble Scrapple has been accepted into the Truck Stop Horror issue of Dark Moments by Black Hare Press.

My dystopian sci-fi horror story Unarmed has been published in the Night Terrors Vol. 12 anthology by Scare Street.

My story Dragonsbreath has been accepted by Scare Street for another Night Terrors anthology. This is an odd one for me: part contemporary dark fantasy, part horror, and part romance. At 7,000 words, it’s also one of the longer stories I’ve written — only Make it a Double (9,900 words) was longer.

My short (non-horror) story Firefly has been published in the inaugural issue of the inScribe Journal of Creative Writing. It’s currently available on page 19 of their online free sample, or can be ordered in hard copy from their shop.

Matches, my dark(er) retelling of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Match Girl, has been accepted into the New Tales of Old anthology by Raven & Drake Publishing.

What happens when your digital personal assistant understands you so well that it starts doing things for you before you even ask? Check out my short sci-fi story Just What I Want on 365Tomorrows to find out.

The audiobook version of Night Terrors Vol. 6 is now available. My short horror story Leftovers leads off the anthology, but the whole collection is truly excellent. I highly recommend it if you’re a fan of horror fiction.

My short horror story The Churchyard Grim — loosely based on the English legend of Black Shuck — has been published in the Night Terrors Vol. 9 anthology by Scare Street.

Three of my drabbles (Everything You Know About Witches, The Devourer, and Up on the Rooftop) have been published as part of the Dark Moments : Year Two anthology by Black Hare Press.
