My holiday horror drabble Trapping Santa has been accepted by Hungry Shadow Press for their Deadly Drabble Tuesdays series. Every year since they were kids, two brothers have set traps to try and capture Santa. But this year, something else is coming down the chimney.

My horror story Die On Your Feet has been accepted by Havok for their Thriller Thursday series. The story is an allegory about what happens to people who deny the reality of their situation, despite all the evidence telling them they are wrong.

“It ain’t real,” Grady insisted. “Think! Have you ever actually seen one of the things up there?”

“No, but I’ve seen what it does to people.”

Three of my sci-fi horror drabbles have been accepted into the Dark Stars anthology by Shacklebound Books.

My fantasy drabble The Man Who Was a Tree has been accepted into the Done in a Hundred anthology by NUNUM. It’s the story of a man who was turned into a tree, and what happens when the curse is lifted.

My ghost story Butterscotch has been accepted into the HAUS anthology by Culture Cult Press. Renting an apartment above a funeral parlor might freak some people out, but not Ellen. Not at first, anyway.

My underwater horror story A Sinking Feeling has been accepted into the Emergence anthology by The Writer’s Cache. It’s the story of two survivors trapped in an air pocket in a sunken ship at the bottom of the ocean. And they’re not alone.

Two of my short horror stories—Something’s Wrong With Mom and They Say Crows Can Remember Faces—have been accepted by The Literary Hatchet. These are two of my favorite stories, so I’m thrilled to have them appear in such a great publication.

My story Silly Jilly has been accepted into Apex Magazine’s Strange Libations: Dark Cocktails, an anthology of stories told via drink recipes. Silly Jilly is a bitter cocktail with a sweet finish, made in memory of a little girl lost.
